Not that that’s a problem. Since it’s written for PHP which is an interpreter language, I can just go to MediaFire, download r2 and get the source code back!

Now while I was in Ubuntu trying to fix the HDD, I decided to try getting the downloader to run in Linux. It’s not as easy as in Windows but it’s not difficult. I managed to get it to work by installing 2 packages and making a .sh file. Here’s a screenshot:

I’m not releasing anything yet until I’m sure that it runs with no problems. Those who are willing to try it anyway can contact me. A Google search for my nickname should get you more than enough info on contacting me. IRC is preferred though.

I also spotted a little bug where if the user already has PHP installed on their system, the program might not work correctly. Since I highly doubt that any of you would have PHP installed, it doesn’t warrant a new release just to fix that. If there ARE people who are affected by this, contact me then.

Almost forgot to write this. Since all my manga are gone, that includes Kyoukai no Rinne chapter that have been taken down by Viz. If there is anyone who is willing to send me the chapters, please contact me.

Yesterday, I decided to help host ZerOne01′s DOLLARS site on my hosting account. Little did I know that it was so popular that it crashed the server within 2 hours of being uploaded. Well the server admins found out and suspended my account for it. Now that I have resolved the issue with them, everything is back up and running normally.

In case you’re wondering, I have fixed that last page bug in the KnR Downloader. It is a simple fix, just adding a single character somewhere in the code. It will be released as soon as I get to it. Maybe within this week.

Yes, it’s finally done! The Kyoukai no Rinne Downloader!

Sorry for the delay thanks to my trip to Japan and my school exams. It took a short time to get the main system working, but a long time to fine-tune the entire thing.

This is Release 1, the first release of this software. I’ve double-checked and triple-checked to make sure that everything is working. Information on how to use it can be found in the “docs” folder. Enjoy and please remember to report any bugs in the comments!

Viz has made this manga available globally so there really isn’t a need for this script anymore. Their latest security measure broke the script and I don’t really have any time to update the script to match Viz’s latest security measures.

Thanks to everyone who has alerted me of Viz’s latest security measures when I was busy with real life.

For people who have used the reader for a certain other purpose, I am now working on a desktop application just for that! Look forward to it!

We have recently moved servers so our uptime and loading time has improved! We also installed this new WordPress system that is much better than that old system that I wrote. The old site will be moved over soon as an archive.

If anyone wonders about the status of Prism Ark, I’d say that it is NOT dropped. It certainly is stalled and I will try to finish Episodes 11 and 12 when I get the free time.
